Q) What is a chocolate fountain?
A) The chocolate fountain is a 3, 4, or 5 tier stainless steel machine that while in
operation the tiers are covered from the top to the bottom with warm cascading chocolate. People can easily dip an item placed on a dipping stick into the chocolate for a scrumptiously sweet treat.

Q) Do I have to worry about setting it up and cleaning up?
A) No, the set up and clean up is our responsibility. We will arrive at your special event at least 30 minutes prior to the designated starting time. The fountain will then be carefully set up and the chocolate will be melted and flowing elegantly so your guests will smell the delicious aroma of chocolate when they begin to arrive. Our full-service attendant takes care of everything including keeping the beautiful chocolate fountain area as clean and spotless as possible. We then will clean up and dismantle the chocolate fountain when our time has ended.

Q) How much chocolate will I need for my event?
A) The chocolate fountain will supply a endless flow of chocolate depending on how many guests you have and how much they love chocolate. Please contact us with the number of quests and we will be happy to supply you with an accurate amount needed. Additional chocolate can be purchased ahead (just in case).

Q) What can you dip into the fountain?
A) There are so many items that can be dipped into the fountains.
Strawberries, marshmallows, dried fruit, pretzels, butter cookies, wafers, biscotti wafers, pineapple, maraschino cherries, cubed kiwis, cubed mango are just some of the dipping delight you may choose. The only thing that shouldn't be used is items that will easily crumble, as this will create lumps in the chocolate We can help you decide on the most popular dipping items for your event.

Q) Where do I put the fountain at my event?
A) This is completely up to you and your banquet facility. All the chocolate fountain requires is a 110 volt grounded electrical outlet within 10 feet of the set-up location, and since the chocolate fountain weighs approximately 100 pounds when full, a level, sturdy table is a must. The chocolate fountain should be in a location where people can gather, as it will surely get a lot of attention!

Q) Can the chocolate fountain be used outdoors?
A) Because of the chocolate's sweet aroma, little flying insects are very likely to be attracted to the chocolate. Beyond that, maintaining the temperature of chocolate is critical for continued smooth operation. This would be difficult to accomplish in an outside setting.

Q) Do you provide the dipping items?
A) We certainly can, for an additional fee. We can also work with your catering manager to create a dipping item list that will surely tantalize you and your guests. We will discuss those details together so that you are comfortable with your chocolate fountain experience.

Q) What kind of chocolate do you use and what does it taste like?
A) We use only the finest Chocolate in our chocolate fountain. We promise you that it is not a chocolate that you can buy in any grocery store. It is a rich creamy Chocolate that is French made. We care about our reputation and have the highest standards when it comes to flavor and consistency in our chocolate. We don't sacrifice taste for dollars.

Q) Can you provide Kosher chocolate for my event?
A) Yes, we can. If so desired, we will use Kosher or Parve chocolate for any event. The chocolate is delicious and we are happy to accommodate all special requests. Most dark chocolate is kosher, however, Parve is a whole other story and we have great Parve. |
Q) Do you require reservations and a deposit?
A) Yes, we require a $100.00 deposit for reservation and the signed contract at the time of booking. Reservations are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis. The balance of your payment is due at least 10 days prior to the scheduled date of your event.
When you book with us, you can also make monthly payments. |
